01 · Overview
Pure Counter is a local-first habit and counter tracker. This policy explains what information the app works with and how it is handled. The short version: your app data stays on your device.
02 · Data we store
The app stores the counters you create, their values, start dates, optional targets and notes, change history, and preferences such as reminder time and sorting. This information is kept in private app storage on your device.
03 · No account required
Pure Counter does not require registration, sign-in, or a personal profile. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords because the app does not ask for them.
04 · No servers or cloud sync
There is no backend service and no cloud synchronization for normal app use. Counter and history information is not routinely uploaded to Barfuss servers.
05 · Data Retention
Barfuss does not retain routine server-side personal data generated through normal use of Pure Counter. Counter data, history, and preferences remain on your device unless you manually export a backup using the app’s own backup tools.
If you contact Barfuss directly for support, information you voluntarily provide may be kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request or meet legal obligations.
06 · Data Deletion
Because Pure Counter does not maintain a normal server-side personal-data record for ordinary app use, there is no routine Barfuss account database to delete.
You can remove local app data by deleting counters/history in the app where available or by uninstalling the app. If you voluntarily provided information directly to Barfuss, you may request deletion by emailing [email protected].
07 · Backups
Pure Counter may allow you to export and import backups. Exported backup files are under your control. Barfuss does not automatically receive or store those files.
08 · Children
Pure Counter is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or any higher minimum age required by applicable law.
09 · Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page together with an updated date.
